vWorkspace – new toys on the Horizon?

After the excitement of the earlier blog post surrounding vWorkspace and Microsoft, I thought I would check out the old Provision Networks public FTP repository (this is well known – check out the vWorkspace forums). The FTP site has always been great to grab resources and product updates from. However, being the nosey kind of guy I am, I noticed a couple of interesting things that I thought you might like to know:
- Looks like work is going on with an x64 bit version of vWorkspace 6.1
- There appears to be some work going on to get a U3 version of the App Portal client working
Most excellent by the way.. if you dont know what U3 is where have you been? ( http://www.u3.com/ ) - There is an alpha version of a MAC based App Portal client
- Some beta work is going on with the Linux client (I don’t know what)
Exciting? I would say so… Quest with vWorkspace seem to be taking over the market!
